Thank you for visiting my website, this is the first step to your recovery and a brighter future.
I offer tailor made counselling sessions for each individual client based on the presenting
issues and your own personal journey.

At Blossom Tree Counselling I offer a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore
confidentially and safely of what is important to you.

I practice integrative psychotherapy, which means that I have trained in several models of
therapy. I draw from a psychodynamic, humanistic and person-centred approach which
allows me to offer the type of therapy, or combination of therapies, that is most appropriate
for you. My approach is particularly suited to people who want to understand themselves
better as well as tackle problematic issues or areas.

At times we can all experience life situations and events that feel very overwhelming. It may
create feelings of anger, stress, being unable to cope with everyday situations, feelings of
sadness, of being low, frustration or powerlessness. Sometimes it may be hard to find
someone to talk to who will understand and appreciate what it is that you may be

I offer a safe space in which we explore your concerns, focusing on what is important to you,
without fear of judgement. I work in a warm and empathic way; I am committed to being
genuine and real with you. I believe that this is an important part of building a good
therapeutic relationship.

Choosing a therapist can be a daunting task, maybe this is your first time and you are not
exactly sure what it is all about, or whether you have previously had counselling and are
looking to return.

My role will be to help you gain a greater understanding and awareness of yourself and the
problems you are experiencing. I will not tell you what to do but will encourage you to
develop confidence in your ability to help yourself.

During our time together I will attempt to foster an environment in which you will be able to
encounter yourself and become more intimate with your own thoughts, feelings and
meanings. It is the relationship that matters in therapy and I will endeavour to demonstrate
integrity and understanding; often the sense of just being heard and understood can be a great
relief in the beginning phase of counselling.

I offer both short and long-term counselling for individuals to suit your requirements. I can offer you Face to Face, Telephone, Video Link and upon request for exceptional circumstances Home Visits. I am fully insured and an Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society (NCS). All my work is fully supervised and I attend regularly continuous professional development training opportunities.

If you feel you would like to discuss what is going on for you then please either telephone or email me for an informal chat.

Following this I will offer you an initial assessment session. The purpose of the assessment session is to discuss what has brought you to seek therapy today, and for me to be able to assess whether my model of therapy is right for you.

It is very important during the assessment session that you think I am the right therapist to work with to enable planning of future sessions.

Going forward I will be able to offer you a weekly session on the same day and time. All discussions and information shared is confidential and I am bound by the National Counselling Society’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

My clinic is at Bramham Therapy Marlborough, 6a London Road, Marlborough, Wiltshire, SN8 1PH.

The Marlborough Practice is located in the town centre. It is a grade II 17th century building which has been sensitively restored and designed with therapy in mind.

All our rooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard, with each one having its own colour scheme and individual ambience.

To maintain Covid-security, all rooms have windows that open, chairs are placed 2m apart and we supply dettol wiped and spray. We have a large and beautiful waiting space for clients and guests you may have with you. We have a video door-entry system, and our Marlborough practice benefits from air conditioning during the hot summer periods.
